The International Workshop on Modern Science and Technology （ IWMST）is a forum of conferences jointly sponsored by 5 technology-engaged universities in East Asia for academic exchanges, which include Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT), Harbin Engineering University (HEU), Kitami Institute of Technology (KIT), The University of Electro-Communications(UEC), and Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST). Since its inception at HEU in 2000, IWMST has provided excellent opportunities for researchers from the 5-member university alliance to share and exchange ideas and experiences on science and technology. The IWMST 2018 at WUST aims to continue to enhance such successful partnership.
